The Misguidance of Usama Hasan….

Asalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaah

In this article we hope to expose the misguidance of Usama Hasan, as surprisingly not many people are aware of his deviancy.

Usama Hasan is the son of respected Sheikh Suhaib Hasan. He is commonly known for being a khateeb at his father’s masjid, Masjid Tawhid as well as being involved in other organisations such as JIMAS.

However within the past 2 years, we have seen a sudden change in Usama Hasan’s views including the call for “Islamic Seclurism”.

”I have tried to develop Islamic Secularism over the past few years”.

He has also shown to endorse the Quilliam foundation (Anti-Islamist Government think-tank) with full support saying;

“i’m very happy to be associated with the quilliam foundation and i hope we’ll have more and more think-tanks like this to challenge some of the thinking and public discourse about islam in britain and the west”

He has also shown his approval of the baatil marriage contract that was invented 2 years ago by the likes of MCBUtrujj foundation and others.

Additionally he holds the opinion of Musical instruments to be Halaal. He says;

“On music: my view is that of Sheikh Abdullah al-Judai, whose book on the subject is the best one around. It is close to the view of Sh. Qaradawi, and classically that of Ibn Khaldun, al-Jahiz, Isbahani and others. ‘Music is haram’ is a statement that is neither accurate nor authentic nor helpful in a music-infested society, especially since the Prophet ((sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)) commanded the use of music at certain occasions. Feel free to disagree on this matter, but it is not a matter of wala’ and bara’, and we have to learn some basic adab al-khilaf with people who have different ijtihad.”

Tayyib. Maybe Usamah should also reveal to us the fact that his ‘Shaikh’ Abdullah a-Judai also holds permissible entering one’s wife through her anus, smoking and other evil matters.

It is clear from the comments of Usamah Hasan that he seeks to use differing amongst the ‘people of knowledge’ as an excuse to spread his deviation and misguidance. The initial point to make is that the people he regards as scholars, many of them are deviated innovators such as Sha’raawee and al-Qardaawee. So no attention should be given to their opinion in the first place

Also as a layman, using the differences of opinions of the scholars for evidence is not permissible.

Al-Haafidh Abu ‘Umar Ibn Abdil-Barr said: “Difference of opinion is not a proof with a single one of the fuqahaa of the Ummah, except for the one who has no insight and possesses no knowledge – and he has no proof for his speech.” (Jaami’ Bayaanil-‘Ilm).

So it is indeed the case that Usama Hasan “has no insight and possesses no knowledge – and he has no proof for his speech.”

Also has he not seen the hadith?….

Abu ‘Amir and Abu Malik al-Ash`ari (may Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Among my Ummah will be those who make permissible al-hira (adultery), silk, khamr and musical instruments . . .” (Reported by al-Bukhari; see al-Fath, 10/51).

Not only that, Usama Hasan has adopted the evolution theory and has stated that to negate the belief in evolution and hold the belief that Adam (as) was actually made from clay is a “Child-Madrassa-level of understanding”.

However if you were to refer back to the Qur’an & Sunnah as we all should do as Muslims, then you will see that this man has preached nothing but kufr.

Allaah (swt) says;

15:28 And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: “I am going to create a man (Adam) from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud.

15:29 “So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him.”

Anybody who uses their ‘aql would find it hard to conceive that when Allah says “Behold, I am about to create mortal man out of sounding clay…” to the Angels and Iblis, that at this moment, the entire evolutionary process started for man. The verse itself suggests that the events are happening sequentially.
A further indication is given by Allah about the process in which he created man, in the verse

55:14 He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery.

Allah provides an analogy of pottery so that we can grasp the idea in question. To inject now the theory of evolution for mankind would seem rather contrived.
Usama criticises the idea that God created Adam from clay, much as a potter makes a statue, and then breathed into him to make him a living human. Problem he is that this is not some baseless view; it is described in the Quran. Either Usama rejects the inerrancy of the Quran or he rejects the idea that man evolved from apes.

Clearly this man is upon manifest error!

As if that wasn’t enough, he mentioned in regards to Hijab….

“on the headscarf (khimar, not hijab, a much-misused term) and niqab, etc. Whether you like it or not, millions of devout Muslim women who are pious, do their salat, siyam, charity and much else, follow what I call the ‘rational’ view based on holistic maqasid that the Qur’an tells them to dress modestly. Eg the ayah mentioning the headscarf tells them to cover their bosoms, not their heads. Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan popularised this view in pre-partition India, and it is followed by millions of devout, intelligent Muslims in Pakistan, where I lived for a year and saw it first hand. It is also followed by Javed Iqbal, son of Allama Iqbal, who has the ajr insha’Allah of the establishment of Pakistan and Bangladesh and all the good that’s come from it. This view is also that of Zaki Badawi and many other Azhari ‘ulama, including I’m told Sh. Muhammad al-Ghazzali and Sh. Sha’rawi, although I have not been able to verify the last two. Whether you like it or not, you have to acknowledge it, especially when explaining it to a non-Muslim audience, as I was doing on BBC HardTalk, since they can easily see that many Muslim women don’t wear a khimar or niqab. Again, it’s a difference of ijtihad. Even classically, there was a tiny minority of fuqaha who said that a woman’s head was not ‘awrah – this is mentioned by Ibn Bayyah and also occurs in the Tafsir of Ibn ‘Ashur. The point is again, it is not a wala’ and bara’ issue.”

As you can see, this shaytaan has denounced the opinion that Hijaab is fardh. Which isn’t even a difference of opinion amongst the ‘Ulamaa of Ahlus Sunnah…the ONLY difference of opinion was if Niqaab was fardh or not.

This man is a joke
